The Single European Sky after Limassol

More than 10 years after the adoption of the first regulations to unify European air space, the Single European Sky project has remained off track. In October, on a conference in Limassol (Cyprus), EU Vice-president and Transport Commissioner, Siim Kallas, announced further measures to speed up the implementation and tackle the fragmentation in Europe’s air traffic control. Speaking about the importance of the project and the challenges ahead is Loïc Michel, ECA Technical Policy Advisor.
